Smoke was reported aboard a United Airlines flight at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, prompting an emergency evacuation of the aircraft, according to authorities.
The Houston Fire Department confirmed multiple units responded to 3950 North Terminal Toad on Saturday morning.
The department said the smoke has been put out, and officials declared the aircraft "fire safe." A passenger told KPRC 2 he was on United Flight 6153 when the cabin started to fill with smoke as the aircraft was taxiing for takeoff.
