CALDWELL COUNTY, Texas - An investigation is underway after skeletal remains were found in Caldwell County, according to the sheriff's office.

On Friday evening, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of skeletal remains in the 1400 block of Biggs Road.

In a Facebook post, the sheriff's office said additional examination is underway to determine whether identification is possible and whether there are any connections to known missing-person cases.
