Burnet County plans to construct the Wirtz Dam bridge, a project discussed since the 1970s aimed at improving emergency medical access for Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls residents.
The approximately $63 million project involves TxDOT and federal funding.
While archaeological discoveries caused delays, construction is scheduled to begin around 2029 and is expected to conclude by 2032.
