Former Pleasanton City Manager Johnny Huizar has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Pleasanton following his termination earlier this year by the Pleasanton City Council.

The lawsuit, filed Aug. 14 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division, alleges breach of contract and race and disability discrimination in connection with Huizar's termination.

The case is numbered 5:26-cv-05253.
