Brownwood council gives preliminary approval to zoning changes

The Brownwood City Council approved preliminary zoning changes for three properties on first reading, with final approval scheduled for August 25.

The council approved the changes on first readings and will consider giving final approval on Aug. 25.

The zoning changes are: * 2305 Coggin - change from R-1 Single Family Residential to C-1 Local Business District.
