By Wendy Sledd, CTC Chief of Marketing and Communications Two graduates of the Central Texas College Police Academy have begun their law enforcement careers, taking the skills, confidence, and knowledge they developed during six months of intensive training into communities across Central Texas.

Naomi Gomez recently joined the Early Police Department, while Victoria Wood-Rush began her career with the Brownwood Police Department.

Both completed the Central Texas College Police Academy's Basic Peace Officer Course, where cadets receive instruction in criminal law, patrol procedures, defensive tactics, emergency response, report writing, and community policing.
