TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A committee member of the Texas Democratic party says she was attacked while attending a midterm rally featuring Vice President JD Vance Tuesday.

Jennifer Murphy-Vick said she was attacked at a midterm rally featuring Vice President JD Vance.(Jennifer Murphy-Vick)Jennifer Murphy-Vick, a district executive committee member of the state party, said she yelled "free immigrants, arrest pedophiles" several times during Vance's speech before a woman punched her in the face, removed her glasses and stepped on the glasses.

Murphy-Vick, who uses a wheelchair, said security told her she needed to leave the rally.
