BY HELENA KNUTSON Podcast Host As students walk across the stage, waiting patiently to shake President Hurley's hand and receive the class ring they have been waiting months for, they are all thinking about one thing: the party that takes place after they get their ring.

The ring ceremony takes place during Family Weekend, which is Sept. 18 - 19, and is a beloved tradition at Tarleton State University.

It congratulates upper-level students for their hard work and dedication to the university through their studies.
