Shoppers looking to furnish their homes on a budget may want to check out Goodwill's new furniture-only Home Clearance Center in southwest Houston, where donated furniture is being sold at deeply discounted prices.

The store, which opened last month, is located at 8225 S. Gessner Road, just off U.S. 59. The clearance center carries a wide selection of used furniture, including couches, oversized chairs, dining room tables, kitchen chairs, stools, solid wood wardrobes and dining room cabinets.

Prices are especially low on some of the larger items.
