Man refusing to come down from roof after evading traffic stop in north Harris County

A man evaded a traffic stop and climbed onto a residential roof in north Harris County, prompting response from Harris County deputies and SWAT.

Harris County Precinct 1 deputies and Harris County Sheriff's Office SWAT responded to an incident scene Tuesday morning after a man reportedly evaded deputies during a traffic stop and climbed onto the roof of a nearby residence.

The incident is happening in the 6000 block of Downwood Forest, near Antoine Drive and West Mount Houston Road.

According to authorities, the man is currently on the roof of a residence and is refusing to come down.
