LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County's jail healthcare budget is already maxed out - and the year isn't over.

Commissioners voted unanimously Monday to shift $55,000 from other county accounts just to keep up with rising inmate medical costs.

The transfer moves money from three county accounts - Water and Sewer, Electricity, and Capital Outlay - directing $50,000 to inmate medical expenses and $5,000 to inmate transport costs.
