DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Jessica Sheppard, CEO and founder of Sheppard Denim, lives in Denison and is launching a denim brand built on cotton grown on her husband's family farm in Panhandle, Texas."I'm originally from the Amarillo area, a small town called Panhandle. It's about 2,000 people," Sheppard said.

The cotton used in Sheppard Denim comes from a farm that has been in her husband's family for seven generations.

Focus on 100% cottonSheppard said making a 100% cotton product was a priority for her brand."The first thing that was very important to me in the time of fast fashion is making something 100% cotton. It's very surprising how things aren't 100% cotton anymore," she said.
