SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler woman tested positive for multiple drugs after a two-vehicle collision that killed an 86-year-old woman in January, according to a Texas peace officer's crash report.

Ashaunti Ahmee Njie, 32, was released Saturday from the Smith County Jail on $200,000 bond on a warrant charging her with criminally negligent homicide, according to court records.

She is accused of killing Edith Ann Starkes, of Troup, when her SUV lost control and traveled into oncoming traffic Jan. 14 near County Road 294 and State Highway 64, according to the report.
