(KFSN) -- The Fresno County District Attorney's Office filed charges on Tuesday against the off-duty ICE agent who was shot during an alleged assault in central Fresno last Friday.

32-year-old David Gonzalez of McAllen, Texas, has been charged with one count of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, one count of elder abuse, one count of vandalism and one count of battery.

Gonzalez was arrested for the alleged assault, which happened before 3:30 a.m. at a home on Dudley and Broadway.
