San Antonio police and fire crews responded to a fiery crash that turned deadly at a North Side apartment complex.

The crews were dispatched to an apartment complex just after 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of West Bitters Road.

Investigators said a driver in a white SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when they hit a curb, went airborne, crashed through a fence and knocked down multiple parking structures.
