HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead at a home in southeast Houston on Wednesday evening.

According to the Houston Police Department, a relative called police around 5 p.m. after not hearing from the woman for several days.

Officers responded to the 8400 block of Broadway Street and found the woman deceased inside the residence, officials said.
