(KGNS) - United Independent School District is considering selling several of its properties as the district works to address a budget shortfall.

During a special board meeting on Aug. 5, Superintendent Gerardo Cruz told trustees the district has already ordered appraisals on several properties it may sell, including the old Salinas property, the Prada property and the family engagement center on South Laredo.
