ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - An Odessa man has been charged with injury to a child and abandoning or endangering a child after police say video from a baby monitor showed him pressing down on a 1-year-old's chest multiple times over several hours.

According to the arrest affidavit, the charges stem from an incident reported on Sept. 24.

Officers arrived at a hospital and were told a woman had brought her 1-year-old child in to be examined for a skin rash, the affidavit says.
