Hurricane Isaias continues to strengthen as it moves toward the Gulf Coast, with the Alabama and Florida coasts potentially seeing impacts Friday evening.

Isaias is currently a Category 3 storm.

While the storm is not expected to impact the Houston area, KPRC 2 is following its progress because of its potential impacts along the Gulf Coast.
