Life as a coach's wife has allowed Cindy Woolf to teach students in a variety of cities throughout her 33-year career and, after a brief retirement in 2020, she's made Brownwood's East Elementary her home since 2022. "After retiring in 2020, I returned to the classroom in 2022 as a retiree/rehire," Woolf said.

"Due to my husband's coaching career, I've had the opportunity to teach in various school districts, including Water Valley, Sulphur Springs, Mathis, Cooper, Anson, Bangs, Frisco, Bastrop, Abilene, and Coleman. Currently, I'm teaching at East Elementary in Brownwood." Woolf is very familiar with teaching traditional classes, as well as assisting students with dyslexia.

"I've taught all K-3rd-grade subjects when self-contained, and when departmentalized, I focused on Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies," Woolf said.
