CURRY COUNTY, New Mexico (KCBD) - Curry County officials have approved a resolution to participate in the 2026 'Operation Green Light', a time when residents are encouraged to light up their homes and businesses with green lights.

This nationwide initiative is a way to honor the service and sacrifices of military personnel and veterans.

According to Curry County, approximately 3,848 veterans live in the county, and 5,515 active duty personnel are stationed at Cannon Air Force Base.'Operation Green Light' takes place from November 4 to November 11.
