(KGNS) - Laredo College is hosting a graduation, transfer and job fair for students planning their next steps after graduation, according to Juan Garcia with LC. The fair will take place Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Fort McIntosh campus's Kazen Student Center, Garcia said.

Garcia said university representatives will be on hand to provide information for students considering transferring to a university, whether in the spring or the following fall."It is kind of like the start of students trying to start to apply that are thinking about transferring out in the spring or even if you're transferring out next fall," Garcia said.

"It's a good time to come and look out and start asking those important questions."Garcia said students can ask about the application process, financial aid and housing if they plan to transfer to an institution outside Laredo.
