POLK COUNTY, Texas - Tropical Storm Edouard brought a one-two punch to parts of Polk County, with heavy rain causing flash flooding in some areas and strong wind gusts damaging homes and property in others.

Polk County Judge Sydney Murphy Brown said different parts of the county received varying amounts of rain.

Livingston received more than 7 inches, and officials said much of the damage in the area came from flash flooding and wind gusts.
