Cheerios teams up with Ziploc to add resealable bag to cereal boxes

After decades of requests from cereal fans, Cheerios has teamed up with Ziploc PantrySeal to announce resealable cereal bags.

It's a natural pairing for cereal lovers, 90% of whom say they already take extra steps beyond simply closing the cereal box to help preserve freshness like folding the bag, rolling it, clipping it or even transferring it to another container.

"General Mills has received letters, emails and DMs asking for an easier way to reseal a cereal box, and we decided it was time to partner with the ultimate freshness brand: Ziploc," said Emilie Knox, Vice President and Business Unit Director for Cheerios at General Mills.
