For longer than a century, McQueeney Elementary School has sat on FM 725 in a cramped location causing traffic and safety concerns.

As of today, students in that area of Seguin ISD will learn life lessons at a newer, bigger, safer location.

Wednesday, Aug. 19, marks the first day of school for faculty, staff and students at the district's all-new McQueeney Elementary School where some things change but some will not, Principal Trisha Eckols said.
