The 2026-27 Gillespie County Fair Court will be selected this weekend as contestants take part in interviews and the annual coronation during the 138th Gillespie County Fair.

Contestants will participate in the Fair Parade on Friday, Aug. 28, followed by a public question-and-answer session at 12:30 p.m. at Marktplatz.

Private interviews will follow at 2 p.m. The competition schedule was adjusted this year to work around the home football game and provide more opportunities for scholarship recipients to participate in the fair.
