QUITMAN, Texas (KLTV) - Members of the Quitman FFA presented to the Wood County Commissioners Court as they prepare for the District Leadership Development Event competition.

Agriculture science teacher Emalee Burt said students are preparing for the Agricultural Issues Forum contest.

She said they researched groundwater districts and the issue of large cities drilling wells in the Carrizo Wilcox aquifer to transfer water to growing cities.
