LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Lubbock Police Department's Major Crash Unit is investigating after a crash in the 6500 block of University Avenue late Sunday night.

LPD said officers were originally called to the scene at 11:59 p.m. for a report of a crash with injuries involving a pedestrian.
