The planned transformation of Big Spring's IHOP into a dual-branded IHOP and Applebee's restaurant has been delayed until early next year.

IHOP General Manager Victor Segura told KBEST Media Monday that he received notification that construction is now scheduled to begin Jan. 17, 2027.

Segura said the latest delay is related to the construction schedule.
