FREDERICKSBURG, Texas - A woman was found dead Thursday on a Hill Country state park trail, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said.

First responders from several local departments were notified around 3 p.m. Thursday of a possible death at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, a spokesperson for TPWD said.

A 59-year-old woman from East Texas was found dead on the west side of the park.
