The Gillespie County Commissioners Court approved expanded agreements with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and heard about options for repairing Old San Antonio Road at its meeting Oct. 27.

Previously, the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office had a task force agreement with ICE that allowed deputies to apprehend people suspected of being in the country illegally during traffic stops.

The new agreements will include jail enforcement and warrant models under the 287(g) program.
