FULSHEAR, Texas (KTRK) -- Ahead of the new school year, some constables and the city of Fulshear are taking a closer look at e-scooters and e-motorcycles.

With speeds reaching more than 30 miles per hour, some Fort Bend County and Harris County constables are pleading with districts to make changes.

Recently, Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable Chad Norvell, Harris County Precinct 5 Constable Terry Albritton, and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Hermann sent letters to seven districts, including Katy ISD, Spring ISD, and Klein ISD, asking them to ban e-motorcycles ahead of the school year.
