ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - It's been about 10 weeks of work on the water feature right in the middle of Cypress Plaza.

But soon, these cones and caution tape will be removed so people can enjoy it.

According to Downtown Coordinator Kate Alvarez, it should reopen around September 1.
