Scots of the Texas Hill Country will hold their first meeting following a summer hiatus at 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Fey Hill Farm Retreat Center in Comfort.

Johnny D. Monteverdi of Treglach Brae Farm in San Antonio will speak on the ancient honey process of creating honey and mead.

As a reminder, the Kirkin' o' the Tartan will be held Nov. 29 at St. Christopher Episcopal Church in Bandera.
