LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - LeTourneau University Director of Fine Arts and Professor of Music Jim Taylor is doing a lecture on The History of Rock Music Thursday.

The public is invited and it's free to attend.

It will begin at 11 a.m. Taylor gives his take on the path of rock from its blues beginnings through the pop rock and heavy metal of 1980. It's a condensed version of part of his Music Appreciation course at LeTourneau.
