A mother has been charged with murder after her 10-year-old son shot and killed a teen girl over the weekend.

Forty-year-old Elaina Gomez-Villeda was arrested and charged with several counts on Sunday, Albuquerque police said on Facebook.

Dig deeper: On Oct. 31, Gomez-Villeda had allegedly gotten into a physical altercation with the victim's, 16-year-old Keinerlein Rangel, mother over loud music, according to a KRQE report.
