SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Early voting is over in Grayson County, where nearly 40,000 people voted early, according to the Grayson County Election Administration.

Early voting turnoutGrayson County Democratic Party Chair Barbara Rush said she saw many first-time voters during early voting."I've seen people who seem nervous about getting the right cards and they're like, you can tell that they're new to the game," Rush said.

Grayson County Republican Party Chair Brent Lawson said the early voting turnout follows a familiar pattern."That's down from the presidential election. And we usually see that in the midterm," Lawson said.
