TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A man who was a resident of Smith County's halfway house facility is under federal indictment.

According to the indictment, Troy Owens Jr., who had been living at the Smith County Residential Re-Entry Center, or halfway house, was taken to UT Health North Campus in Tyler for medical treatment.

By order of the attorney general, he was to return to the halfway house facility when his treatment was completed.
