If you spy a painter at an easel later this month, chances are they are competing in the Texas Outdoor Painters Society's "Paint Kerrville Contest." Leading up to the Oct. 24 finale at the Second Annual Water Street Festival, painters from all over Texas will converge in Kerr County to visit with colleagues and practice their craft.
