MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Democratic candidate James Talarico made a stop in Midland on Tuesday at The Loft venue as he campaigns across Texas in the final stretch of the election, just days before Nov. 3.

Talarico has returned to Midland for the first time since March for his "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts" tour, inspired by the show Friday Night Lights."Clear eyes, full hearts can't lose. There is a moment in every game, the last play of the last drive where you have to leave it all on the field. Midland, we are in that moment. In the final days of the election, they are coming at us with everything they got," Talarico said.

Talarico said he and his supporters are building a movement, "To take back our state and take back our country. We are uniting Texans from all backgrounds and beliefs onto one team to take on this broken, corrupt political system."Speaking to a packed crowd of supporters, Talarico said if elected he plans on creating an anti-corruption bill."Getting big money out of our politics by overturning Citizens United. Banning corporate PACs and super PACs so billionaires can't buy our elections. Banning members of Congress in both political parties from trading stocks and enriching themselves while in public office," Talarico said.
