BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Aggieland Humane Society is seeing a spike in intakes at the shelter.

Over the past week, Aggieland Humane Society took in 46 dogs and cats.

Most were lost pets, and Executive Director Katrina Ross said an intake surge is unusual this time of year."It is really challenging in the moment, you know, in the day-to-day operations when we see a surge of pets," Ross explained.
