AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- Texas governor-elect Gina Hinojosa and Senator-elect James Talarico celebrated their big win Tuesday night at an Austin-area Whataburger restaurant, a video shows.

The video, shared by Hinojosa, showed the two elected officials sharing a booth with the celebratory sodas, surrounded by supporters.

On Tuesday, Hinojosa defeated incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott, who served the state for 12 years, becoming Texas's first Latina governor.
