DALLAS, Texas (KXII) - It's the final week at the State Fair of Texas, with new safety measures and lower prices in place this year.

With 277 acres to cover, State Fair of Texas officials must keep safety and security top of mind, starting at the gate.

All bags are subject to search on fair grounds.
