ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Sheriff's deputies on patrol in the Hudson community around midnight on Friday observed a traffic violation on Hwy 94 by the driver of a U-Haul box truck.

Deputies then attempted to pull over the truck in the area of Walnut Hill Road and State Highway 94.

The driver of the truck, now identified as Shayna Marie Allen, 36, accelerated away from patrol units and led deputies out Hwy 94 and down FM 1194 towards Peavy Switch, Sheriff Tom Selman says.
