WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco teenager who impregnated a 12-year-old girl three years ago pleaded guilty Thursday to a reduced felony charge.

Frederick Charze Watson-Bailey Jr., 19, is seeking deferred felony probation after his guilty plea to attempted aggravated sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

In exchange for his guilty plea, the McLennan County District Attorney's Office reduced the charge from first-degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child and recommended that 19th State District Judge Thomas West place Watson-Bailey on deferred probation for four years.
