AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Texas parents are being targeted by fake texts and mailers claiming to be from the Transgender Education Network of Texas, known as TENT.

Families received pamphlets titled "Texas Trans & LGBTQ+ Student Resource Guide" in the mail.

TENT said it had no involvement in the mailing.
