RAINS COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Texas game wardens rescued a man from the waters of Lake Tawakoni Sunday after he was ejected from his boat, according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TWPD).

Just before 7:15 a.m., Rains County game wardens received a call about a missing boater who had been participating in a local fishing tournament, TWPD said.

The agency said the man struck a stump in the water, causing his ejection from a boat.
