Well, the 2026 Homecoming Game between Boerne High will certainly be remembered as a wild and crazy one, but one that ended with a Greyhound victory.

BHS defeated Veterans Memorial Friday night at home 49-7 and stayed perfect at 8-0 and bumped their district record to 4-0.

A fire on one of the light poles in the parking lot at halftime halted the game with Boerne leading 35-7. The game was delayed for almost two hours because they had to turn off all the lights at the stadium to fix the problem.
