A Guadalupe County jury sentenced a New Braunfels man to 20 years in prison for the 2023 fatal shooting of another New Braunfels man in Seguin.

The sentence leaves two families reeling, one having lost their loved one forever and another facing decades with their loved one behind bars, said Isaac Mesa Sr., whose son, 27-year-old Isaac Mesa Jr., was convicted last week of murder.
