Overnight attacks on critical infrastructure triggered hourslong power and water outages across Kyiv and surrounding regions Wednesday as rescuers combed through rubble in southern Ukraine, still searching for survivors three days after one of the deadliest attacks there in nearly five years of war.
On Monday, multiple Russian guided bombs had slammed into a school and shelter in the village of Komyshuvakha, near the front line in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Authorities have confirmed 37 deaths and say some 38 people may still be trapped.
